Simplicity and Big Flavor in one delicious bowl.
I first experienced this salad while doing Beachbody’s Ultimate Reset and loved the simplicity and flavor it provided. Now that Panera has “retired” my favorite Asian Chicken salad, this recipe is quickly becoming my go-to once again. Pair it with chicken breast to add some protein. Adding wonton strips or crunchy noodles to top it will (obviously) add some crunch and texture.
The Recipe
Dressing:
3 tbsp rice vinegar
2 tbsp fresh squeezed lime juice
2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
1-2 tbsp minced ginger (or ginger powder to taste)
2 tbsp Braggs Aminos
Salad:
1 head of Napa Cabbage
1 carrot sliced or shredded
1/4 red onion sliced thinly
2 green onions, sliced thinly
2 tbsp cilantro, chopped
Combine all salad ingredients in a bowl and mix together. In a small bowl, mix all the dressing ingredients together. Pour over salad and toss to coat evenly. Cover and place in the fridge for at least 15 minutes before eating.
